Yeah that makes sense. Reed valves i only ever hear about in 2 stroke bikes. The stop was removed in the rd250lc my brother had when the motor was built. It got bored out to 358cc and made 63hp at the wheel on the dyno. Nothing earth shattering, but more then 20 odd hp the factory claimed in 1980.
Im just lost as to why my 30cc trimmer ran like a champ start after start, after many service items were fitted prior, then stopped when it was warm, only sitting for maybe 3 or 4 minutes. Yes its not an issue buying another, but where's the challenge?
