Steve7181, thanks for your response. I can see you've done your homework and you give fairly sound reasoning for your decision to change the filter. I'm not knocking your enthusiasm but I would probably err on the side of caution. I see you're somewhat reluctant to flash your
ECU because the car is still under warranty. I don't think changing the filter will do much for you performance wise, but given the sensitivities of modern day electronically controlled engines, can a diagnostic performed by Ford spot the extra airflow provided by the filter?
