I've seen it at Supercheap and Autobarn at least, i'd presume most places like that would keep it

Yeap, most automotive shops should have them, I get mine from Supercheap like said in the post above, and its great for refreshing them rubbers when they start to stick. Some people also use it on body plastics for its shine but I notice it seems to attract the dust a lot more.

The way i applied it was, pull of the door trims, if the spray didn't come with the tubular nozzle, grab one from a WD40 spray (purge remainig wd40) or if ya really pov, use a maccas straw. Then I would start on the inside rails, high up. This is where it is most likely to stick. Open and close the window a few times, and if it still sticky moving, work downward, making sure you use it liberally.

MRsheen works great on window rubbers and doesnt wreck the rubber like silicone does

I didn't know silicone stuffed up door rubbers, so thanks for the tip. I was about to blast a heap of silicone spray into my window runners when I read your reply. Mr Sheen it is (good stuff for dirt bikes too, I found).

This is a new one on me as well. Silicone usually provides protection from rotting on rubber.

I bought some at Bunnings last weekend for about $10. Its called ezy glide and often used to lubricate roller doors. I to used it to fix the power windows.

So do you just spray the stuff inside the window rubber with the window down or do you have to pull the door trim off?

spray it in between the rubber down the sides of the windows...

I couldn't find it in any of the auto stores in sydney, ended up getting it in kmart of all places.

Just had my 2 front doors done today when my car was in getting serviced by a ford dealer.I told them about the windows going up slowly and i asked if they could squirt some lube in there thinking it was part of the warranty, come back in the afternoon to pay for the servive and the bloody smucks charged me $24.10 for lubing the door runners. ****ed off, I think i will head off to the auto shop next time and do it my self. Lesson learned!
