Default She is all gone now.

Well I wrote off the EF on saturday. Cant even be angry about it either as it was my fault. Was turning write at an intersection and there was a van on the otherside turning right. I nosed out to see past him and looked all clear. Pulled out n then there was a HD softtail. Got me right on the rear diff. Pushed it right under the car n poped the door out. HD was folded in half. Rider was OK. First thing I did was check him out. Will find out if it is a complete write off tomorrow.

Going by their patches looks like US version of the God Squad, so maybe they just prayed for his soul?

The moral of this story?

LOOK OUT FOR BIKERS.

Very lucky that a) he wasn't killed and b) he wasn't a Bandido...

OK. Latest update. The assesor looked at the car for a total of 30 seconds and said it was repairable. He never even looked underneath. When I told him about the diff and shocks he said 'OH Really Dam never looked.' Just waiting on quotes now from Busa and Scott street. Gettin stereo fully customised now as well.

Sorry to hear that, not good but atleast the bike rider was not hurt.. Yeah when my EL got Front and Rear end smashed i was sure it would be written off. It all depends on insurance companies.......If its an economical repair then they will do it, I think luck of the draw. I have seen come cars repaired from what was escentially a writeoff......

Falcons are tough cars. I had a big crash in 02' but with my 3rd party insurance, we decided to just keep the wreck and see if we could fix it. It looked really bad, but what a surprise to find the steering, suspension, and the engine all survived! It ended up mostly cosmetic (besides the front left chassis rail and the radiator support panel). and I'm still driving this same car! Pity I didn't get any photos before we ripped off the headlights and bumper, but this shows how hard a hit it was.
