Bilstein or Koni?

Hey guys,

I'm in the midst of slowly resurrecting my Kat at the moment that's been off the road a while and getting some repairs done.

To save doing a job doubled over, I'm thinking of getting the struts all round swapped out with either Bilstein or Koni whilst work is going on.

The guy I'm getting to do some suspension work for me actually deals in both brands so any pro's or con's to either or opinions on either or??

Any particular brand or individual model of strut(s) best suited to the Cougars?

I know Dave has Bilstein's in his Kat and will advocate for the Bilsteins.

I know I may get directed to have a read over at newcougar.org which I have done briefly but I'd much rather hear from Aussies with their Kat's in Aussie road/travel condition experiences if possible.
