Default Focus Secret Compartment

Ok, not quite secret but certainly one that I did not know I had after some 6 months of owning the car.

Had a problem with the SYNC not being able to finish indexing the ipod. So, after a quick check of the Focus ST forums, found that I needed to remove fuse 67 for a minute or so to complete a hard reset of the SYNC system.

No problems, me thinks, I''ll just crawl into the driver's side front footwell, rip the cover off the fuse panel and whip out the fuse. Just as I would have on my previous Falcons and the Tez. Climb down there and find what looks like a fuse panel cover between the steering column and the door, only to discover that it is not a fuse panel, but a well hidden compartment.

And I note that it is a perfect spot to keep the keys if they are not in my bag, as well as the wallet which i have found I can not keep in the back pocket whilst sitting in the the Recaros.

So, if, like me you didn't know that this compartment is there, check it out. pretty handy.
