Default New Novelty Horn

I finally got my new novelty horn today and i just installed it
sounds friggin mad

thats the sound basicly
and its 110 db so its pretty loud

not to sure about anywhere else, but the bloke i bought it off has his shop on ebay and are completey trustworthy i paid for it on thursday and got it friday and this is the second thiing i have bought from them, and the horn is very easy to install

i got one from auto barn for $40 but its a diffrent horn.

Those ones for $100 at auto barn arnt that bad, you can easily get it cheaper from somewhere else if you look hard enough. My mate has the "Cucaracha" tone on his xf station wagon. Its awesome, always attracts attention but be careful when doing it. The cops dont seem to like it lol.

^^^ the cops dont like it because 99% of the time people rip out there old horns and replace it with novelty horns. This is unroadworthy and illegal.

You can have them in your car aslong as you have the original horn connected and the novelty horn is on a different button not the horn ring. Quite frankly anyone who removes the factory horn alltogether and uses an aftermarket novelty horn is asking for trouble. God forbid the next time they need to use there horn to warn someone on the road, etc and the crap tastic Novelty horn screws up and cause's an accient

My sentiments exactly. The novelty horn must be operated on a different curcuit to that of the original. Hey sorry if this sounds like a cardigan answer but law is law. Not that we all have to follow it but when insurance is concerned its worth thinking about.
