A few Days ago the Check battery light started commin on in my car, We put a multimeter on the battery and found it wasnt getting enough volts during idle only 11v instead of 13. I just made it to the Ford mechanic today...on the way i lost power to nearly everything, acceleration was like going backwards. The ABS light came on next, then the traction control light. 1km from the mechanic the gauges went out...no speedo lol. In the end and this is no joke i coasted it into the mechanic. Btw the warranty ran out 2 months ago. Iwant my damn car...hate driving a damn nissan patrol, like driving a lead brick.

Sounds like a reg more than anything. A car that young shouldn't have worn through the brushes although you should replace it anyway regardless when you check the reg. Brushes are $5. Goodluck.

Only 2 months out of warranty? Call the Ford CRC, surely there's something they can do to help. I was going to when my water pump went just out of warranty (6 months) but never got around to it and didn't think I had much chance.
