Default Gearbox For 1600xflow Mk1 Cortina?

Hi. 1600xflow Into A Mk1 Cortina. Recommendations For Gearbox?
And Where To Find/ What Make/model To Salvage From?
A Few Uk Ford Sites Suggest 2000e Gearbox, But They All Talk Uk Models. -did The 2000e Box Come In Any Oz Cars? Is There A Better Option?
-ideally I Would Love A 5 Speed Box, But Budget Might Be A Factor...
Thanx.

Default

there are 5 speed conversions you can use...
but it depends on your budget

you could use the gearbox from a later MK2 cortina or MK1 escort
