Lightbulb Kiwi Forum?

:

Just wondering if a little Kiwi forum somewhere would be doable? Please, no flaming. : For members in New Zealand so we can talk about places to buy from, cars for sale locally, etc....as much as you Aussies may hate it, we are a big part of the Ford army with just as many Fords on the roads down here.

I See you have a meeting forum but, yeah. :voldar02:

Remember, I come in peace. py:

Not that active, but what can you expect for a Australian forum. There is some NZ Ford forums but I never really became that active on them as I prefer this site.

Where in Wellington are you?

Thanks, I have seen that. That's what I was meaning as it's an events forum not a "One for all". I'm in Upper Hutt, Bogan ville to some. : Yourself? I'm on the Tickford NZ forum too, becoming a financial member this week.

Yeah, Boganville for sure. I'm in Whitby, hopefully getting a job in Petone soon.

So when my best mate, who happens to be a Kiwi (is it ok that I call him that?) tells me that Australia is the "West Island" I should inform him that he is degrading the honor of this fine country and to please refrain form making remarks that could be taken out of context?

oh wait, I have a sense of humour, disregard what I just said. : :

Yes Garry I did, in the Territory forum

http://66.226.77.74/showthread.php?t=59195

7 Escape drivers out of 9 wanted an Escape forum and 43 Territory drivers voted for an Escape forum.

Thanks, as I said, that's an Events forum not an "Off Topic" one for all type forum.

Here is my 2 cents worth, think it would be great to have a Kiwi section, then us kiwi's in Aust can keep up with ford things back home

Thanks for the support mate. It's just easier for Kiwis to gather around, yes there's somewhat of a Kiwi section but it's in the Events section. Plenty of us are members here so I think it would be justifiable and as you guys know, Fords and V8 Supercars are followed just as much in Kiwi land. ;)

I'm a Kiwi working here in Australia - used to work for Team Hutchinson Ford in Christchurch. I'd like a section where I can see what's happening at home and also to touch base with other Kiwis here.

Can't we just start a thread within one of the current sections?

Cheers

I support you request here too NZTS50. Would be great to have an area set a side for this, as you say a lot of kiwis are members and it would be great to have some where to view and communicate ideas and opinions collectivly.

As for my original comment about the flaming issue it was a bit strong but for all of you who replied with a sence of humour I had a wee laugh. I know there is just simply good banter from most but for those few who will endeavor to seize an opertunity to hang rubbish on others, will. Threads get out of control and shut down, seen it happen, just getting in before hand.

I agree. I am worried we will have all the Kiwi input only in a Kiwi section. I may poke fun at kiwis from time to time but as mentioned, there is a large contingent from Un Zud. I personally would rather a thread started or such, otherwise we will never see you guys again !
That said, in the end, if there is enough demand we will do it.

A thread is cool but who wants to scan through endless pages and multiple topics? I've never been a fan of the endless thread myself. While it may save room and keep it to one thread it's not user friendly at all. Only when photos are involved as the topic stays on track and it's hard to get away from the photo subject.

If the "Kiwi input" is in the "Kiwi forum" wouldn't that make sense if the topic is a "Kiwi matter"? ;)
I doubt you will find non-Kiwi issues in there at all.

Cheers,
Carl
