Default 08 focus USA style

I was just checking out www.fordvehicles.com and I stumbled across the 08 focus :
Have they got a clue, damn that's one of the ugliest cars I've ever seen!

Part of the problem is the thinking that Americans still want their cars to look bigger then they might be, or so management believes....the euro styled Focus to me seems so much better looking and if I were Ford US I would have researched which design would be more desired by potential buyers, if they choose the euro Focus they would save a bucket load in tooling and design work.

The side view is nice.

The front lights look crappo. Too American. But that's ok. The Australian version will have better ones.

The rear lights are outdated for Australia. They remind me of AU lights. Mind you, I like AU lights, but the fact is the AU is almost 10 years old.

A new design is required for the rear.

But it looks ok. We shall have to see what the final product looks like.

The Euro Focus is so much better looking. I just don't get how they have been unable to justify going to this platform in the US.

That is the ugliest care ever.......

In fact most of the cars on offer by Ford US are ugly and old... Crown 500 ????????

Those yanks either have poor taste or they need to let Ford US know that their products are crud. Then again they re-elected a president that got in by cheeting in the first place, maybey they really do like that kind of thing????

I don't think it looks SO bad. Definitely suits American tastes better than ours. Reading through all the features it has, it seems like a pretty funky little car.

Just the Ford Five-Hundred with a restyled front, and changes here an there. may i ask Ford, what is the point of the Fusion-Taurus-500 lineup? i'm sure they don't need one of them!

Well I'll be the first to admit I really like it. I prefer it to the Euro Focus anyday.
