Default Fine for turbo

Does anyone know what the fine is for getting done with a non engineered turbo??

But the EPA fines are huge (not sure on exact amount) so im told....

The fine will be the least of your problems if you get done.

1. You wil recieve a defect notice for an unroadworthy vehicle (fine at discretion of officer i belive around $160 though).

2. EPA notice (no fines) you will however have to remove ALL your turbo gear and return it to stock, pass the EPA, then throw all the turbo gear back on. Unless you can do this yourself, then your probably looking at about $800+ in labour....

yep thats my plan if i get caught lol, quick swap setup is the way to go

Mate got done in a r31 Gts which he turbocharged, think the fine was around $120? thats in nsw but then they be hero's and get you for stuff like B.O.V and tyres to wide etc

Well your mates first mistake is turbocharging a GTS ( um heps original!!!).. secondly its the law.. so dont and moan when you get caught.. if you cant do it legally or are being a D&*%head and get caught sucked in!!!

What about with the new P- PLater laws in Vic, im pretty sure the fine is pretty hefty for driving a turbo charged vehicle and being ovr the power to weight ratio
