I'm gonna jump into this thread and ask a question.
I'm currently on my P's in QLD, got my license after the new laws unfortunately.

Does anyone know anyone who has been caught with more then 1 passenger after 11pm?

if its like vic and you got your P's after July 1 2007, you cant do ANY performance enhancing mods. that includes exhausts, airbox, chips, etc.
lowering - you will need to ask about that one.
fibreglass panels do not make the car more powerful so they are fine.

in qld for p plates the only restrictions i know of are, no high powered cars, so nothing over 200kWs and no V8's or Turbos or Superchargers, if your car has less than 200kWs and is a v6 or four cylinder then you can do whatever mods you like.

theres also no restriction on engine capacity.

on your L's there is no restrictions at all, its drive whatever you like

You are not allowed to drive high-powered or high performance vehicles including vehicles with the following:

an engine that has a power output of more than 200kW under the manufacturer’s specifications for the car
eight or more cylinders
a turbocharged or supercharged engine (except diesel powered engines)
a modification to the engine of a kind that must be approved under the Transport Operations (Road Use Management – Vehicle Standards and Safety) Regulation 1999, section 30
