What if you fall between some of your options?

I'm in between the top 2 really. I enjoy my job but it doesn't really challenge me and the main reason I stay doing it because I know I can and all of the working conditions are good.

And I have a career, I dont just work in a job to pay the bills per say.

I love my job

I work for Robert Bird Group (structural and civil consultants) As a "trainee" Civil Designer.
It's not an actual traineeship, it's cause I'm studying at the same time. Pay's good too. Especially for a 20 year old.

I do a lot of civil drafting, roads, pavement, etc and also touching on a bit of civil designing through the 12D program. I get involved in budget meetings, etc etc.

You know what they say. If you love your job, you'll never work a day in your life!

I did four years of a chef apprenticeship after year 12 and army, and was top of my tafe class getting awards and mostly A's in exams. After qualifying the pay and conditions were something the Mods will not allow me to submit here. So another four years post app'ship and failed relationship saw me into security industry which is same but at least i can still stomach it most days. Toss in paying child support and i can just about live week to week. Access to my son two nights per week keeps me on the Gold Coast, but would love to get into something else Heavy machinery, mining etc. Actualy earning a decent pay cheque would be a nice change.
