Utes stolen from Warwick QLD

Two classic utes, in town for the Monaro Nationals, were stolen from the Jackie Howe Motel overnight. If you have any information on the stolen vehicles, please contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or Warwick Police on 4660 4444.

Good to see that one person has been arrested in regards to the vehicles being stolen from the motel over the weekend.. just a shame to see it was stripped, but hopefully the parts will all be found.

I found it a bit strange to read in the associated article that another guy was glad that thieves seemed to give up on his beloved Monaro after pushing it 500 mts to the back of the motel they were staying at ,then had this to say
" Mr Cassar and his son Jason from Cronulla, New South Wales, booked into the Centre Point Mid City Motor Inn on Friday night and didn’t think twice when their car alarm sounded in the quiet country town.
“We thought it was just the trucks going past. In the morning we were shocked to find it missing,” Mr Cassar said.
I would have thought the whole idea of an alarm was to assume that maybe something was wrong when it activated, and maybe go and investigate??
