Default Been shopping....

a couple of us went to see a mate of mine today, and bought an EA off him.....
and i promised myself i'd never buy one.....
anyways, besides the fact that the front is trashed, (rear ended someone), it was a damn nice car. as far as we can tell, it was dealer fitted with a USC body kit, which is skirts and a front and rear lip, Moffat style bonnet vents, a boot spoiler, and scheel seats (like XE ESP).
apparently its based on an S-pac, it has the spac guage cluster, but it also has a 2way electric sunroof...
there are no badges on the car except the ford badge on the bonnet.
it currently has Koni adjustable shocks all round, genie extractors, 2.5" zorst,
King 'low' springs in the front, and k-mac 'lows' in the rear.
the 3.9mpfi engine has 192k on it, and looks to be in good order.
it has a 3spd auto :(

we got it for a good price (dont ask cause im not telling lol),
and even tho i dont pick it up till next sunday, 90% of the parts have peoples names on them lol....

unfortunatly the front seats and the simmons rims on it dont come with it :(

i'll have pics next weekend, and more the weekend after, of my EB with a kit on it ;) (the EA is white, and so is my eb )

sorry if that was of no interest to you, i just thought i'd share...

the USC Kit is the same as fitted on Matty S Pak's dark Blue ea.
its not a bad kit, a little similar to the spring kit only IMO a little nicer :P
good on ya for getting it phil, always good when everyone wants something off it ;)

I'll say nothing, but I'll think a lot of things.

The car sounds nice Monty, look forward to those pics. I'm sure you'll find a nice T5 in time.

lol!
we got impatient and brought it home last night.
my mate decided he'd let go of the simmons, for a VERY good price, so someone here now has some new rims..... I'll let him tell you about them...
i'll start stripping bits off it during the week, but i plan on dumping the stripped body next sunday.
i'll post pics as soon as i work out whats wrong with my camera.

lol soon john, soon.....

the car came from a member of the Falcon Car Car club, he bought it a few months ago from ebay.

the boss wasnt too worried bout this one coming here, i've promised it'll be gone on sunday lol..... will be dumping whats left of the ghia wreck on the same day.

just finished pulling out the engine bay loom from the ghia (5.0), what a ***** of a job.

theres a guy coming to look at the engine and trans tomorrow, i was at the wreckers, he was also there looking for a 3.9, the wrecker said "no worries, $400, plus extra for fitting" i said "i'll sell you one for $200" he said "sweeeet"

made an interesting discovery today while stripping the car.
i removed the exhaust heat shield and found an SVO tag welded to the extractors....
so they might have to go on my car lol....

the car looks damn hobo now, i cut away the radiator support panel to aid in removing the mighty 3.9. i'd take pics but my cam is playing up :(
Ehab's removed the dash etc, and the sunroof is almost ready to come out. it'll all be done by tomorrow, as the shells being dumped
