Id say its not.
I MAY buy a 95 EF XR6 auto with tickford rims for $4500, 220,000km on clock, and an EL XR front bar.
My mate is selling his EL XR8, 5spd man with XR8 mags and 12months rego, 137,000km on the clock for $15,000

Yeah thats a bit hot for an xr6 with that amount of Km's on the clock.

I'd pay 6-7thou max. The 200,000 clock over means a few things will need replacing if all is original from factory. Eg. radiator, trans (if auto) etc.

If the centre caps say 'ford' then your half way to knowing theyre genuine ftr rims. Unless theyve just found genuine centre caps lol to put on imitation ANZ ftr's. :P

cheers, Matt

Call VIC Roads n get a Secruity report on in
yall need the model make and year and also the engine number and vin number

they will tell you a few things about the car most important one is if its been in a ride off or an accident

if so then i wouldnt bother

Don't be too trusting of car yards and yes its a price you would want to negotiate down some. these are good things but 200k will be showing wear and tear that will need some reasonable spend on maintenance that may take you over your budget.

How much do you expect to spend on fixing the car over a year?

If it's nothing don't buy it. buy the lowest k family auto car with a good service record that hasn't been thrashed or buy a sporty car of an enthusiast who has spent way too much on it and has tired of it or wants something faster.
