With the generosity of AFF Members, there is a few hundred dollars in PM's that I have been sent along with your great offer of stocking a whole day of BBQ'ing. I am forming the opinion now though that food might have seen it's peak need though as a hell of a lot of power has been restored, many shops and businesses have re-opened and people can get in and out of their streets. I wonder if from here on in, the best help is in direct donations or offering arms and legs to keep the clean-up going. |

Hey guys, I think we got a mention on ABC radio the other day. I forgot to mention it. I was listening on the way home from work and someone from Graceville rang in and said, "I dont know who these guys were, but they had a big bbq set up at graceville park, and if that wasnt enough they also had a ute full of drinks and drove around all day handing them out" T
They were using us "I imagine it was us" as an example of how generous people were in their area, as the host asked people to call in about how strangers helped them.
