Default Fezzy's New grill

Hey all,

With a few hours (or days as it turns out) I managed to get my second hand grill fixed up.

It is still unpainted, but will be painted Matt black in the coming days, I will also be painting the fog surrounds and hopefully doing the lower grill with a set of spot lights very similar to the Mustang GT500 type of look (2 spot lights low and together)

Hope you all like....

Cheers

Like the idea of the Mustang inspired spotlights. The WQ grille being grey was the cars worst aspect, apart from not offering a factory body kit, the latter not essential to look great however. Painting this a nice mat black will look fantastic I think. Definitely post up some snaps when your finished mate.

What paint are you using for the plastics??? When I blacked mine the paintshop recommended a bumper specific paint and flexi prime. came up a real treat with a nice matt finish although I armoral mine for a more satin finish...

Also love the idea of the spotties, have been thinking of fitting a set behind my new lower grille (still in the digital design phase)

Finally (im rambling) are you up for a cruise to the GC first sunday in march so we can all see it?

Yeah I saw your thread, have been away from the PC for the last few days.

I used a plastic etch primer and body filler first. I just have one spot to slightly fill where the hacksaw went a bit low.

Yeah I should be right, I will hopefully also have the rear wing on and new rims!!!
