Sorry, I don't know. BP are the only ones selling a "premium" diesel in NZ.

theres quite few video`s on the tube about noisey diesels, someone mentioned lugging the engine at 60 kph in 6 gear, i`m thinking being lugged at that speed would make the engine complain a little considering the engines compression ratio, but i could be wrong.

all common rail deisels ping like that. you should hear the mitsubishi diesels. sound like a rods bout to come out. but its how they have designed them.

I filled up the wagon with Ultimate diesel last week. The engine is definitely quieter. It was also impressive after travelling about 80 km to see a DTE of 1030 km!
