hey all
just thought i might post up the plans for my EF - would appreciate some thoughts/comments etc! ;) i've currently got a 1995 EF Futura - 275,000kms on the clock - recond head, stage 2 crow cam, exhaust, extractors, XR ECU, ported TB, etc - the usual base mods! puts out about 125-130rwkw now i've recently purchased a 96 EFII Ghia wreck for $1200, so have a tickford engine to play with - 150,000kms on the clock! so, i intend to do the following: -use stock bottom-end -ACL race gasket/head bolt kit -adj timing chain -surecam/ALTED cam - stage 3/4 or so -unichip -ported & polished head plus will re-do all leads/plugs/gaskets/bolts/o-rings etc etc as well whilst its on the engine stand! hoping to get 160rwkw once all said & done - i'd imagine its a pretty realistic aim? as well as that, the car will also be recieving: -EL GT swaybar -3.45 LSD -slotted rear rotors -new BOGE shocks -XR bonnet -Seq scoop/airbox lid/pod filter -new front tyres -climate control -rear electric windows -high-spec carpet so should be all good once its done!

nice to see your keeping us upto date uglybob
that Ghia was a real bargain, and easily the best way to go when you're modifying a car to higher specs (its what i did)
