Default Dizzys?

Has anyone heard of a specific or diffirent distributers for cfi and mpfi?

yep, they are different. The MPEFI dizzy tells the ECU when cyl 1 is at TDC for the batch injection firing whereas the CFI doesnt.

CFI dizzy will still work, but the injector fire timing will not be optimal.

Ok cool that fills me in on what the auto elec was saying i accidently put a mpi dizzy in my cpi it ran like poo is there any way of telling the two apart?

One tooth on the pip rotor is smaller than the others on a mpefi dizzy

yes, for that reason you need to swap dizzy's if doing a MPFI conversion.
would deffinately make the car run oddly.
