Default ecu diagram

Hi guys I have just started installing my shift kit but the instructions i have are for an ecu with over 80 pins but my ED has only 60. I found a post in fordmods saying that their el has a 60 pin ecu aswell and someone said the 71 pin is equivilent to the 51 pin and the 81 pin is the 38 pin But this was for an EL so i dont want to cut any wires on my ED ecu without deffinatly knowing help would be appreciated as i need my car tonight!! CHEERS

That's where I got my diagram for (my EB V8 has a different pinout to your ED I6 mate, but the EBII-ED pinout should be available there too)

Cheers Dave i had a bit of a sus there after i posted this anyway and found what i needed.

I have just gone to go install my shift kit but it says use pin 38 but there is no wire coming out of pin 38. I wasnt sure i was counting from the right direction eg l-r/r-l but either way there is an empty spot there. this is starting to give me the s%&ts. seeing as i dont want to be stuffing arround with my ecu cos a shift kit is useless if ya car goes nowhere!!!! Please help me someone
