Doesnt Volvo already have a 220kw T5 in the S60 AWD?
So there is your basis for an Focus RS..... If it ever materialises.

I am sure some dealers will Demo an Xr5, just so they dont have to have customer cars being driven by some kid who walked in off the street for a burn.

The S60 R has the 300HP/220kW 2.5 high pressure turbo, but it's a different engine - wider and a significantly different turbo setup (turbo isn't integrated in the manifold, that's what makes squeezing extra boost out of the T5/XR5 hard). The S60 AWD has the low pressure 2.5T engine - 154kW & 320Nm.

The 5 potters in the large P2 platform Volvos are wider than those on the P1 (S40/V50 platform, aka C1 in Ford speak), just more compact in general.

Nice Wheels - {Size 300k}

Thanks Lagom, I thought that it was the same engine with a little different turbo set up! That would make things a little more difficult getting an RS off the ground(Global), with the additional engineering work required.

I'd imagine the Demo thing should be identical to what VW do, it would make sense. Maybe there are a couple of Demo GTi's around, but I'm guessing they'll even be hard to find. Personally while you have 15 people waiting for 5 cars, you'd be a damn utter fool to spend money to demo a car AND lose money on a full price retail sale...

It's not easy getting a good demo run in a Golf GTI either.

Many VW dealers charge almost 2x the standard dealer delivery fee on the GTI - with current demand, they can get away with it.

Hi Sath the man that gives the best deals on new Fords in Victoria, what colors are left if someone wanted to purchase one of these pocket rockets?

No auto, you need to get a Volvo S40 T5 if you want an auto.

The manual in the Volvo T5 (same powertrain & platform) is buttery smooth on the move - nice short shift too, I'm sure it'll be great in the XR5.

PS, just had a look at a press release. If you want a "XR5 AWD" ;), you can now get one with a Volvo badge for $54,950 - they've dropped the price by $5k and added some more fruit & AWD to the old T5. Not a bad deal for a premium car, considering the performance and quality you get.

Does that mean you have a list of options and colours (int/ext) that you could provide to us? Ford's website aint saying much.

Hi Focituner. Welcome aboard.

Ah yes! We are lucky we get the Euro Focus. But then you guys have so much aftermarket stuff (and tuners, and specialists who know about the product)that we have to rob a bank to pay for the air freight

Hey , i understand......I still wish I could get a set of panther black front and rear MK1 bumpers for a reasonable price. They just make the overall shape of the Focus absolutely sleek and complimentary. I have to rock out my stocker bumpers which make me look like i have tugboats on the front and back of my focus. But in the effort to make good diplomacy, send me a pm on stuff from the us you are looking for. I know a great tuner shop which has no qualms about shipping international.
