Well, if you know what the code is then it's usually no more complicated than punching in the code when the display shows "code" using the station tuning buttons.

But if you do not know the code then it is a rather more complicated matter, often involving a dealer and money.

Hopefully you know the code?

Cheers

It's also on a sticker on the back right hand corner of the head unit, pull it out and it's all yours

Yeah Ford tried to charge me $400 to get the radio code as "it had to be sent off to get the code".

Turns out if you pull out the head unit its on a sticker.

Good to know,

But if the Focus is anything like the Mondeo, you will have an interesting hour or two getting the head Unit removed and replaced.

Have some old credit cards handy to remove fascia inserts, that cover screws (or an equivalent), with minimal damage.

In the Mondeo you start behind the gear shift and work forwards.

Better not to lose the code documentation, or if buying a used model, insist that, as a condition of sale, the code is provided and verified.

Cheers

Huh, isn't the whole point of the code to deter people from stealing it...?
