Default help leaking powersteering

hi,i found where it is leaking, at the switch that gose to the powersteering,
how do i get the switch out to replace,any help would be great.

I beleive SFR Rob had the same problem with his Series 1 Forte.

I have had a few different power steering leaks ... got a new one now.
I now need a power steer pump .. and an entire new rack as well.
YAY for me ... more money to be spent on the vehicle.
It's never ending.

Oh the joys of cars ..lol , I remeber years ago after spending a fortune on my old XE - in the end all things fall apart and i decided i'de never spend so much money on a car ever again , 10 years later and look what happened , i now got an AUIIXR6 - 3 weeks into owning it its allready getting marks etc etc and im allready thinking of selling it be4 i loose to much $$ on it . sad but true.

That's what I was thinking ... I wouldn't mind upgrading ... but it would cost me too much and I'd lose out a fair bit .... I may as well just stick with it and enjoy it.

Yes All Fixed,not A Drop Under The Car Now. Went To Mates House And Cut 14mm Spanner In Half With A Grinder,as My Dogs Eat All My Power Cords And Im Back In The Dark Days With No Power Tools.you Guys Are Legoins,as Would Of Taken It To A Shop And It Would Of Costed Me Heaps.

Good to hear.

Just remember to check your alternator. I had the same problem and the leaking fluid got into the alternator and burned it out. Apparently it's a common problem with AU's.
