Default Stroke me..

Now kids, I have a question. Anyone out there got an I6 stroker? If so, please enlighten me. Is such a thing possible? Oh the wonder...

they are already a long stroke engine, you wouldnt want any longer stroke...... all it'd do is make lots of torque and not really rev past 3500 / 4000

there has been one built that I know of and is now a 4.2L
still revs like a normal 6, makes good power and silly amounts of torque..

It'll still rev ... but not a free as the standard motor though.
torque would be up ...
sounds like a good mod for the EGAS motor ... as the buggers don't rev anyway ... but the torque increase would be nice.

Not a cheap mod though ... well that's what I reckon.

yes definately not cheap, and you would have to live without your car for a little while. that would drive me insane!!

Yeah, I assumed that they were already close to the practical limit stroke-wise. Still... be nice to have 450nm of torque eh? : Think I'll stick with a DEV3 JMM kit.

Neil101 has a Dev3hl from memory and has 148rwkw and 410nm or a little more from memory..
