Default B-series section

Could we have a B-series section?

This has been discussed a number of times before.
Currently the X, E and A sections are there because they are "clubs" rather than because of seperating the different car era's.
The BA/BF currently has contemporary cars, XR6T/F6 and Boss areas to itself, there really is no need to create a seperate B Series area that would be, in reality, for the NA Barra cars only.

Contemporary Cars includes AU models, not just BA/BF. And the other two areas you mention fall under "performace" which also has a 'Tickford' area, which includes E-series and AU models.

I completely see your point Casper and agree with you, but it's not as if E-series and AU series cars are short on anywhere to post :yeees:

I asume down the line when the 'B series' stops, there will be a passionate group of owners who will probably form a club and then we'll have a B-series section... I don't see it happening while the B series is the latest model as a lot of the 'performance' and fpv areas etc will have enough discussion space about the model as it's the latest platform.

Contempory includes AU, BA and BF. These are models built on the same platform. Makes as much sense as X series staying together and E series staying together! Why are you unhappy with the situation as it currently is?

I'd say the BA/F will get a section once there are a group of owners that bring about a Club or Website for both like AUFalcon.com.au.

i find it hard to decide on where to post regarding the "B" series falcons.
It is too split up, and it is easy to lose track of where you post!
But i can deal without a B section too.

because the B series has aleast 6 similiar but different platforms, it would be a overlapping mess and a shocker to moderate

To start with dont use SMS style posts, take pride in what your type.

What has been stated above, will be the reason why there will not be a B series forum, there are enough section to cover the current range.

yes, thats why i can understand not having a seperate B series section, as you said, probably al it would do would cause too much confusion for some people here.

make a b series club, like how we have eseries and aufalcon clubs, then an area will be set up for you...which is why we have our respective sections....

...its not hard to understand that i hope....
