Default It Lives!!!!!!

Well as some of you may know I had been having a lot of problems with the idle on my EL recently, but not anymore. She was finally fixed last night by Scott (some may know him, thanks again NZ) a bloke who seems to know everything and a bit more about these things. A bit of an up in fuel pressure, advance the timing, fix the earting issue, up the idle slightly and disconnect the power steering pressure sensor and she goes and idles like a new (well almost) car.

The battery to body earth was crap so an extra negative wire has had to be run and all the power steering pressure sensor does is up the revs at idle so it doesn't stall but with my mods it was rendered useless anyway and was actually now stalling the car.

Well it's finally been figured out what is wrong with the old girl, a dead ECU. On top of that I got to Scott's place last night and we had it idling for a few minutes trying to figure it out and why it was jolting on the freeway occasionally and losing power when the bloody thing died (best place to do it though). Dead dissy aswell, lucky he had a spare one from a CFI which he swapped shafts with mine and got it going again. I'm really not having much luck with this car atm.

And now I find the car in the driveway at home with a flat front drivers tyre, I can't win.
