Engine Tuning Articles

Im 'just' after any and all articles to do with tuning car engines, be it carbies, mechanical injection, LPG, or EFI. EFI articles are preffered though.

I am not currently looking for information on how to use a specific carby/computer/whatever (although these are welcome, dont bother searching the net for hours to find them, they arent THAT important), rather the actual process of tuning an engine, ie. diagnosing flat spots, detecting detonation, deciding if and when and engine needs more or less fuel, choosing appropriate ignition timing and the like.

If anyone has any articles on this, can you speak up now? Even if its not possible to post them on the internet, I still want to know.
