According to Wheels Magazine's Facebook feed the P1 has lapped the Nurburgring so far in 7:04 as well.

Funny, I just got back from a trip to Vegas, and did the Exotics Racing thing. Chose a 458 and an Aventador for 7 and 5 laps. Just couldnt bring myself to part with the money for the MP4-12C. I know it is more complete than either of them, but just too Toyota for me. You can be too efficient!

Great video, you could see and hear the differences when the car was put in race mode.
This thing is going to be epic at full tilt on a racetrack.

Autocar have driven the P1, brief review.
What a car, seriously hats off to McLaren. I have to say the Porsche 918 sounds better.
But really you can't go wrong with any.

I could not choose between the two, I'd have to have both.
That 918 with more weight and less power is a freak. The grip levels must be out of this world.

IMO the McLaren looks awesome and would be my pick, it just seems like more fun. We haven't seen enough of the LaFerarri which is a shame.
