I have been looking at these with renewed interest, especially the RS-V.
They were a 2nd gen model, based on a tweaked Epscillon II platform, and built at Rüsselsheim. So I'd suspect quality would be decent. The RS versions featured what I'd consider to be all the mod-cons: Autonomous Emergency Braking, Alloy Wheels, Android Auto, Automatic Headlights, Automatic Wipers, Blind Spot Monitoring, Climate Control, Cruise Control, Electronic Stability Control, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Parking Assistance, Parking Sensors, Power Mirrors, Power Windows, Proximity Keyless Entry, Rear Cross Traffic Warning, Reversing Camera, Traction Control. Additionally the 3.6 V6 comes in AWD, with the 9sp auto. This was the latest iteration of GM's V6, an improved version on that previously build locally for the Commodore. Fuel consumption isn't great, but is passable. The RS-V version adds heated Leather Seats, Sat-Nav, and a few other touches. And it came in only the 3.6 AWD for both the Hatch and The Sport Wagon (which looks ok to me.) Hate the idea of driving a Holden, but could always fit Opel badges.
