Are you sure it aint a 347 stroker?

Sounds like he's got some serious power. What does an EA weight anyways? 1400kgs? So it will surely boogie alright!

To keep with the topic no standard FG Ford of FPV currently has close to 300kW at the wheels. The current F6 might have about 270kW (roughly speaking) at the wheels. But the new GT with the 5.0l S/C may get a little closer to that 300kW at the wheels figure.

Cheers,
Dan

Edit: dont worry. Its an EA. You can spend all you like on it nothing will change, its an EA.

You cant compare something from 1988 to 2010...or even 1995.

At this time no factory FPV demonstrates 300rwkw although the FG F6 comes reasonably close in the upper half of the 200s.

300rwkw is fairly easy and cheap to achieve in a T6, less so in a BOSS but not unheard of.

Kilowatts for show, newton metres for go......how much torque does his car demonstrate?
Do you remember Grandpa Henry..........?

Yes I certainly have, however the way it rhymed just made it sound good, while being simple.

Incorrect on both accounts

slimbo make 300.4rwkw with his stock FG F6. Here is the proof, including a dyno chart:

http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthr...yno+rwkw+stock

Simon from XFT posted that he saw 294rwkw and 301rwkw on two separate FG F6's on his dyno. Here is his thread on the subject:

http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=11254492

In the same thread, Simon talks about a stock G6ET making 254rwkw and a stock FG XR6T making 249rwkw. Stands to reason that with the FG F6 having an 'advertised' 40kw more then these numbers are about right.

Deanof6 made 301rwkw:

http://www.fordforums.com.au/showpos...4&postcount=40

This has all been backed up by the 1/4 mile times of stock FG F6:

Gus09: 12.38 sec at 114.02 mph
AUXRATE: 12.34 sec 112 mph

Source of 1/4 mile info: http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthr...yno+rwkw+stock

Of more interest is the graph provided by slimbo in the first thread i quoted. Put that dyno chart up against the EA dyno chart and this thread has its answer in terms of power delivery.

The only useless posts here are those comparing illegally registered race cars with factory cars which abide by emissions testing and have warranty.

There are plenty of cars here making good power with dyno graphs and time slips to back them up.
I suggest you browse the appropriate sub forums and use the search facility to find them.
