The guy was a super nerd, I am suprised he did not try to move in with one of you guys, as soon as he felt he was part of a group and accepted he had to proove it by etching himself forever with a tatoo, I hope the guy is happy modderating whatever he chooses to do next but quite simply he was a weirdo.

FF.com was where most of the Territory discussion started before most of us came over here - I think after a US moderator tried to strike a thread after one contributor said he was gay and some humorous Aussie banter followed. Great moral hypocrites the yanks. All that early valuable Territory stuff seems to have been lost. The printed word has some advantages over cyberspace. Glad to be here anyway.

Aww stuff 'em.
Let the bl00dy yanks have it.
Looks like an ebay-cloned car forum now!

Only thing that worries me is that if the yanks get the sh1ts on with it too, which I'm betting they will from reading a few bits and pieces on there, they will get on here and start with their 'Why do you Aus-sies drive on the wrong side?' and all that crap.

But I'll bet they kept all the 'Mustang/Thunderbird/Torino and whatever else yank stuff they have' forums though!
I guess they'll realise the mistake/s when we all can FFdotCOM. But it'll be too late by then.
And you're spot on dude. The world's biggest hypocrites. They think they can do and say what they like, but then they think they are the world police if anyone else does the same...

I was looking for their threads about FF being gone. I wanted to see what was going on with CAPA being mad at them etc. That forum is so stupidly difficult to browse. Glad I switched to this long ago, when it first opened. I stopped posting on FF.com while AFF was still an IP address and didn't have a URL.

Well it appears that they have realized the errors they have made in taking away our communities.

They are giving all their communities back but will add their own admin teams and moderators (from what I gather.)

so......

That being said it is totally up to you. You are more than welcome to stay here or you can return to Fordforums.com.

I will return to Fordforums.com but will remain here as well. I think I can benefit / give / receive from being a member of both communities.

So Mods/Admins please leave this open so that the people who want to stay here can do so but if they want to go back to Fordforums.com they are more than welcome back as well (Minus LunaticSVT) as I guess he has a NO FORD clause for 3 years now that he has sold the site.

Ok but excuse me?

I have watched your posts on here for a while now and to me it seems the only "benefit" from dual membership is taking our threads and info etc and re-posting it on ff.com.
I would suggest that telling members they can "come back" to your site is playing a childish game where you are asking people to make a choice.

The simple fact is that people are not required to make a choice, they make their own and the forums accomodate accordingly. Users should not even be asked to makea choice or have it suggested that they should.

At the end of the day, ff.com is, as far as i am concerned, dead and buried. And Im not saying that because I am involved on this site.

I was on ffdotcom before this rocking place started. When this place started with its IP address, I moved over and never looked back. The first thing that got me was the layout of the site. So good on you admin team well done. After that I started to get to know a few members and now I am on the comititee of a club. So without this place it would never of happened. So thank you admin team and members. This is our site and lets continue to make it the best ford forum there is.

They must of taken the thread down when I clicked on the link and all I noticed was the four letter swear word. At first I thought it was a joke site but later realised what must have happened.

FF.com is back up & running, on a skeleton crew. I doubt it will ever be what it was, but who cares.
