Vote 1 for MONOFORM TAXIWAYS. These tyres are excellent for handbrakies, lighting them up and covering a street in smoke. As long as you don't go above their retread belt's speed rating of 140km/h, you'll be sweet.

My other vote goes to Pirelli P600's. I've got videos to back these up. Smoke up about 2 seconds after you light 'em up!

you gotta be careful with retreads the tread can come off and flick up and mangle and scratch your car.

and the best tyres to use are expensive ones with a high rubber content. and they screech like f#!k too

Would softer compunds like yokahama A509's be better? Do they even still make them? We used to smoke up eagers, kelly chargers, and I've had fun destroying plenty of recaps. Check out what tyres the drifters are using.

This is a picture of what taxi tyres can do, of course it was done on private property (this road goes around the perimeter of my uncles property in lilydale)

This is boostmyef's old EF, there was alot more smoke than that as well! I only took the picture at the half way mark of the burnout!

I also got some more pics/vids of Sundeep at my uncles bus depot in Tiga_EL's mums car, i'll post them later!

anything from pickapart... 14" stockies with ancient tyres and decent tread for 26 bucks sounds good to me!

http://members.dodo.com.au/~sarb11/abubout.mpg

There's a video to show how quick they smoke up, there's two parts to this video, and in the second one the tyre pops

That's for another day though!
