Reminds me of horse racing fanatics. We have plenty at Work who always have big ‘wins’ because they don’t report the losses.

Funny that horse racing is so lucrative yet they still come to work each day, and not one Ferrari in the car park!

Sure there’s the odd person or two who gets rich off it but they’re in such small minority.

Questions for those playing with crypto currency - how did it feel quitting work because you’re rolling in money? And what colour is your Ferrari?

I had a look on Wednesday, if i hadn't of got out when i did in December i would have lost 1800% of the profit i cashed out on.

The coins I have left are up 200% but that is just play money now and Monday was the first time I looked at it in 6 weeks. I think it will recover fine over time. I'm 80% of my portfolio left in VEN, I plan to not touch it for another 2 years regardless of what it goes up to or comes down to.

I am watching ripple still. I bought some at $3.91 AUD on the way down so it will be a long time before that comes back. I did however buy some more at $0.80 AUD. It went down but now $1.07...

Everyhing is coming back. Ether spent 2 weeks around 500 aud but now 730. Altcoins had a great week but chances are that we are not yet done with the fall of bitcoin despite the recent rally to a lower high the downtrend of btc is not over and if btc $hits itself it has a potential to drag everything down. I am much more optimistic now than a few weeks ago despite a lot of my coins show a bad balance but we are getting there, back in business

Looks like things are progressing steadily with crypto for the moment. Some alts are doing very well over the last couple of weeks...be interesting to see whether bitcoin can go past its all time over the next 6 months or so

I bought my ripple at around $1 - $1.10 and I for the past few months I swore if it got back up over a $1 I would sell it and walk away but now that it has I've decided to HODL!

Bitcoin cash and Litecoin are going to have to jump substantially before I can cash that out.

I think we slowly get out of the bear market but bitcoin might have a trick to play on us before..

Alts are rallying for sure

I have profittrailer, it is very good. U can scrape together half a percent profit on an average weekday if there is no major market drama. Version 2.0 was released this morning with major updates after the 1.2.x series
Downside is that now it is subscription model for new customers but you might still backorder via resellers the lifetime model.

I read an article yesterday that said that 12 months ago bitcoin accounted for about 80% of crypto trading. Today is 38%. Bitcoin , I think, will be gone in 5 years. Maybe less.

You think bitcoin will to $0 in less than 5 years? Why is that?

Bit coin is old technology. Its slow and expensive to use. It may not be at 0 but it will not be considered a good investment. I have heard that Amazon has now registered a patent for a product that will be able to track and identify bitcoin users. Not sure if that is true but if you take anonymity from it... then it becomes pointless. Of course this is only my opinion. And I'm the one that predicted ripple to $5 by Easter. How wrong could I be???

yawn.

bitcoin never had anonymity. people have been able to track users since day one - it's all there in the block chain. there's a group that have been tracking the coins 'stolen' from mtgox and the other big upsets on other exchanges, FBI tracked down the operator of the silk road.

I agree it'll never be a day-to-day currency, it's more like Gold, an investment asset. And like gold it'll be around for a long time.

a year ago there was maybe 5 coins people cared about, now there's 1500+* sh*tcoins/tokens/ICO scams/forks/splits/exchange currencies etc. bitcoin will still be here in 5 years, 99% of those scamcoins won't be.

the top 10 coins make up 80% of the market, the other 20% is scraps

Bitcoin is useless as daily payment currency bcoz of its limitations but its very popular investment coz of its big swings but relative maturity at the same time. Still the revolutionary first one with 40 to 45% market share

Been somebody very interesting surges the past few days. A couple that have surprised me have been.

Tron (TRX) really reclaming the ground it lost after its high.
Bitcoin Cash (BCC) near enough to doubled
Dash is also having a push I wasn’t expecting.

Bitcoin as always leading these pushes.

Yes anyone who bought a year or so ago and have held their crypto would be sitting pretty right about now...

Crypto is still on sale at the moment, prices are still down about 50% from where they were at the start of the year. Still a good buying opportunity at the moment imo

This lady knows her stuff. I tried as best I could to confirm what she says. I wont say what I found out but I have bought more XRP. Its a long video so if you have a short attention span it s not for you. But if you sit down with a cold beer or a hot coffee you will learn heaps. I hope you guys enjoy it. Especially those that think crypto $$ are a ponzi scheme or a fad. Cheers all.
