Too mint, once it's all running fine and dandy and you start playing with it... what power figures are you aiming for?

300rwkw is my goal for now. The AU was a nice drive.

When I convert to auto I want to run a 10.

Thats worth a shot I guess but when clutches start becoming the same price as a 600hp auto trans I might get over trying.

if its a geardriven powerdyne then i don't see why not.
theres an 11 second 6cyl EF that has a vortech, and i don't think its a big vortech either.

surely Wayne's car would run an easy 11 given the right driveline & traction?

there is a big difference between a powerdyne ( internal belt driven) and a vortech ( internal gear driven)
their flow capacites are much different.

Yes Wayne's would run 11's easily

Not that I am aware of.
Never seen or heard of them at all.
some people confuse powerdyne with PD, ( positive displacement) blowers.
They are usually internally gear driven.
They are not a centrifical blower.

look up the powerdyne XB-1A, its an internal gear driven centrifugal s/c.
I mainly remember because Rmyers was looking at what superchargers would slot striaght into his existing bracket setup.

Check out the second paragraph, a few lines down. It's definitely powerdyne..

i'm just going by what i've been told. Apparently it was usually in the low 13's, but ran an 11 before the electrics shat themselves..

I have just read something on the forums, jimst3te50, he built his TS50 into a 500hp weapon and has found the limits of the tremec. So maybe a tough C4/C6 would be the way to go (depending on whether the tickford tremecs are a watered down of a normal tremec)
