(not an E series, an old Pintara):

bought in June 2002 with 266888 on the clock, currently has 330710km.

I've owned it for 2 years and 8 months, but it was off the road for two months (engine died early 03), and I was off the road for another six (licence suspension).

it'll do the job until I can afford a decent E series

My 'rolla's done 200,000km's which sure aint bad for a 20 year old car.
It hurts me to think my EF has almost done that amount in 10 years :(

It's not far below average. I think the average Aussie car does about 20,000 a year. I've done about 19-20,000 in the last 12 months.

the only engine bits its had due to failure has been a water pump, the gearbox has never been touched and its still as smooth and sweet as the day it was built
Ya moron! You know it is a death knell to even TYPE that stuff.

GO LAY DOWN ON A WOODEN FLOOR NOW, or better still, in a coffin so you're surrounded by wood.
