I could only get T Bone steak at my local Butcher, we've just all got to make concessions in these unprecedented times I guess...

I was worried I would not be able to get groceries last night but luckily I had no issue.

So I thought I would go for a stroll down the bog roll aisle to check it out and it was absolutely cleared out.

**** me we're going backwards at a rate of knots in the common sense department here.

Though I saw this interview https://videos.dailymail.co.uk/video...8595290390.mp4 and maybe we are not totally lost yet. Funnily enough the Daily Mail that the link is from could be bog roll substitute

Society in general is so selfish these days. That's all it boils down to. Can't think beyond their own precious little bubble.

Some families live basically hand to mouth. They can't afford to go stock piling, they just need their weekly amount. Thanks to the selfish morons they now have to struggle even more.

Rationing may not be fool proof but at least it's something.

#BREAKING NEWS#

This just in. A story has been trending on Chinese social media and will soon be confirmed by the WHO and National Governments, including Australia. Major landscape gardening projects will be the next to be impacted by COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

Earlier today Australian Prime Minister, Scott Morrison would not be drawn on rumours major landscape gardening projects would soon become unavailable, except to say, "How good are major landscape gardening projects?"

For FordForums.com.au members only my business is able to offer a limited number of major landscape gardening projects. Please do not delay! The first ten, $50000+ contracts signed and paid for (Cash or Pay Pal), will insure those members will not miss out.

Do not want to spend the whole of your quarantine period peering out through a gap in your; toilet paper, rice, flour and tinned bean stock pile at a dated landscape? PM me now for my special price!

I can't believe some Australians can be so ****ing stupid. It is a flu NOT the Bubonic Plague or even gastro - 2 weeks and a reasonably healthy person is over it, like all flu's

WTF???? is the hording of toilet paper - I wonder if at the end of it they will look at the stockpile they have and question their own sanity?

Someone on FB said that the stock price of toilet paper manufacturers has improved greatly. Anyone into the stock exchange can verify this?

Well that was a surprise, I've just done a dunny roll stocktake & crunched the numbers.
We have 6 rolls in reserve which gives us an estimated 3 Months supply for 2 people.
I guess a lot depends on your usage I keep thinking about the bloke on here a couple of Years ago who was looking for manscaping advice, he was growing a fur coat around his ring.

I Googled the 'go' rates and it seems there's a 33 rule.
Min: 3 times a week
Max: 3 times a day

Recommend Quilton Gold 140 sheets c/w little flowers embossed into each sheet.

Soon to be replaced by “Minimum buy two packs” as they struggle to avoid holding surplus.

I went for a quick shop this morning and zero TP in our local Woolies and Coles. How long before the 24x7 production starts to make it to the shelves?

I read in the papers (cough) today that Woolworths had sold six weeks of toilet paper in four days. All that this little drama has done is to pull forward supply. In a few weeks there will be a slump in demand for toilet paper as consumers start to run down their stockpile.

On a related story in today's newspaper, apparently airport security stopped someone loading 1,000 liters (approximately 1,000 kg) of incorrectly declared sanitizer gel as cargo onto an aircraft. Besides being stupid and dangerous, surely the cost of air freighting a metric tonne of hand sanitizer is completely out of proportion to possible street value at its destination.

This I am curious about, because Aus Post wont touch anything with more than around 23% alcohol. Yet there's no shortage of sanitiser being sold on ebay/online/etc.

I don’t get chest freezers......a friend of mine used to buy milk in 2lt plastic bottles and freeze them for later. Who the actual F doesn’t just go to the shop to buy fresh milk when they need it.
As a kid my mum and dad would buy 12 months of meat and freeze it, it must be a country thing.

Seriously, good on him. Something to do, public transport keeps you grounded, too (no pun intended).

My father was almost obsessed with retiring and physically doing nothing; he’s probably younger than yours and now has the mental capacity of a stoned guinea pig.
