looks like it feeds directly in, i'd love to know if theres like a box under it with a filter? or if its just straight unfiltered air?

nb, its beginning to grow on me.........but i still think they should be left on early falcons:P

I can't comment on BA -BF shaker mods to bonnets as I haven't heard of any or seen any or know anyone doing it...

I am sure the people I know with these cars might think twice themselves about cutting into their original bonnets... Don't know.. but can ask a few...
No I personally wouldn't be happy about cutting into my BA GT or BF SP bonnet to fit a shaker but Lynton has considered it.

I mean whose ever heard of putting a shaker on a V8.... thats just absurd. :thebirds: : :thebirds:

Yes it is filtered into the TB.
That EA Turbo is horrific! those vents are *caughs* Rice!

I think the colour of my car blends in well with the shaker!

So how much would I be looking at to get this done to my ED XR6? Also How much would it cost to get the bonnet cut at a panel beaters or something? Also can we see some pics of how the air is filtered into the TB. I am very interested. Basicly where and how do i do this

Thanks for all the interest that you guys have shown through the posts in this thread and via the PM system. The fact is that I didn’t create this design and have no intention of taking all the credit.

For this same reason it’s not my place to show detailed pics or verbal instructions on this set up.

Keep in mind your intake manifold differs to vegabass's one ;) If you were to get a shaker, it wouldn't be as direct a feed...

As you can see rob did the hole free hand with grinder. we drew a line of where we were to cut it and went from there.

If we were to do it again probably make it a bit bagger but getting it centre is a pain in the bum

nah, you'd just have to do a setup like the BA's have.

the shaker actuallly has a pipe to the airbox then joins the normal intake track.
