I think I'm a bit OCD when it it comes to spelling/grammar. When I say something that belongs to many I always say "peoples'".

It annoys me after I make a post and it isn't quite right, but I was always fairly good at English in school. I use short hand if I'm in a hurry like texting to someone, but on a forum I make sure I don't come across as an illiterate moron.

Generally speaking on most forums I visit peoples' spelling/grammar is decent. Incorrect use of context doesn't bother me as I do it when I'm not switched on. Someone posting mostly text talk is frustrating however.

I'd like to quote the hilarious Robyn Williams on why spelling and grammar on the internet is so atrocious; "the reason is because most people are trying to type with one hand".

Presumably this means the other hand is busy doing other things.
