Christmas is just around the corner so like the Dept* stores ill get me tree up early
on another note was involved in a little job of exporting some mining dump trucks so how do you get them on a closed hull cargo ship donno what the bloke in the last pic holding the rope is gonna do if it all went wrong

Some may recall my previous posts on this subject, but for those who missed it, I am a member of a volunteer group who winds our local clock. The clock is a replica of the original post office, located within the local mall.
Original Sale Post Office (with clock tower): Current replica clock tower: The mechanism is manually wound, using two weights to create the energy to run. One weight is for the running mechanism whilst the other is for the striking mechanism. A full wind run time is 8 days, 13 hours and 43 minutes. My mate, who is a photographer, joined me a while back to get some pics for a show he was conducting. These are the two that don't have me in them. The mechanism, apparently, is exactly the same design as that which runs Big Ben in London, just a smaller scale.
