Default Au1 first car, possible mods

Alrighty this is my first post so be gentle!

I am looking to be an AU1 Falcon for my first car and am looking to do a few mods to it.

I have seen some info lukey and redback exhausts and was wondering if they are good and a rough price.

Are the SS inductions a total waste of money or should i get this:

Is getting a new cam worth the bother and whats a rough price. Are crow cams anygood.

sorry for the newby questions!

thanks in advance.

Redback catback exhaust - $300ish
Pacemaker Comp extractors - $450ish

The SS inductions work, so does a Tickford snorkel from Ford for $35 and a KnN pod or panel filter in the airbox $120ish

Cam would be a worthwhile mod after the exhaust and intake are done, Crow made decent cams.. seen some for $250

after that look at an Edit or Unichip..
really depends on how far you want to take it..

I was reading on ls1 that surposedly its been proven ss inductions dont work and you can go and claim your money back?

Id say if you havent purchased a car yet aim for au2 for bigger brakes and more up to date. If you already have an au1 maybe get a high series bonnet and a t3 kit. A t3 kit can be had for around $1.8k from awc delivered I think. Maybe then some 18" mags off someone like wheel king.

I picked up a redback exhaust sounds great costed $190+$70 for tip. The tickford intake you refer to on ebay is rougly the same price from ford but that ebay price is on the money. They are cheap and a worthwhile upgraded for very little money. Maybe try getting a K&N they had a sale on at repco not long ago for $99 each. Other then that maybe extracters, cam or bigger au2 brakes or some good pads and rotors. Also throw some clear repeats on the fender they are about $11 each from ford.

Interior wise maybe some chrome door handles, momo steering wheel and momo gear knob all the momo stuff can be had on ebay fairly cheap.

All that stuff is probably the more easy to do and most common stuff people do to au's.

No problems mate, and welcome to the Forum...

If you keep your eye on the Forsale section on here, you might come across some cheap bits aswell.
