with tweeters you shoudl have got mid ranges and cross overs aswell, from your head unit or amp, put the speaker wire into INPUT on the cross over, then from there you take tweeter to the tweeters place on dash or somehwere else, and midrange to the speaker pods in doors.

You what in the what now? :yeees:

Did you get crossovers with them? or are they just tweeters? If they are just tweeters I wouldnt go using them straight away or you will cook them soon.

with regards to the crossovers- what do they actually do? i know you connect you tweeters too them although are they for regulating the different sounds going to the midrange and tweeter or what?

Crossovers divides the audio into two or more frequency bands. These are High (Tweeter) and Mid (Woofer).

Without a crossover network your running full range frequency into tweeters that are not designed to reproduce those sounds but only to reproduce high frequency sound (Treble). This will eventually kill them.

run speakerwire down the back of the dash to the footwell and connect onto your crossover

Nah you just feed the wires through a hole and fish them out with a long screwdriver or coathanger.
