Default Is there something wrong with this EL Ghia?

carsales.com.au link

I've been looking around at EL's for a while now; and this one has been on carsales for quite a while. I've never enquired about it due to it being a distance away from me and not having enough time to go out there.

I was wondering though, if anyone else around here is like me, that someone else may know anything about it?

I think it was originally advertised at $8500.

I have noticed that their are alot of good eseries going for cheep recently so I wouldn't say there would be anything wrong with it other than the normal wear and tear but being in shepparton it limits the potential buyers.

AFF has a xmas charity cruise to shepparton on 11th December, 2011 we can all look at it then lol

It's pretty well what I want, but it worries me that it's been on carsales for such a long time.

$8500 is quite high, probably why it hasn't sold. Even at $6500, it's still top end of the price range.

Really?

I don't see too many v8 EL Ghia's around; but 6500 seemed reasonable to me. Only thing I can pick on is the fact its now over 200k on the clock.

I've noticed that has been up for sale since I was looking, which was before May. Maybe that could be good bargaining material? Good luck.

$6,500 is very dear which probably explains why it's been on there for so long. If you were considering buying it, I'd recommend offering a more reasonable price.. probably $4,500-$5,000 max for that car, considering it has 9 months rego and seems to have been well looked after.

It's way over priced, has over 200,000 kays on the clock and the big rims would put a lot of potential buyers off, hence why it hasn't sold. I personally would never buy a car that had big rims like that, it screams hoon/feral driver and subsequently a flogged out car.
