Be interesting to hear everyones thoughts on this subject.

Little of subject but I recently went to a tuner that i havnt heard a bad word about, turned out the cat was stuffed and they didnt even know

Should a tuner be able to tell if a cat is no good after the car has been on a dyno ?

At the time i had no idea what the rattling noise was turned out that the insides where loose and all blocked up.

Only found out after going to an exhaust place the day after

Mate you'd be far better off using the search function or exploring the relevant forum area for the model you're looking at. Adding what model XR6 you're talking of and your location/state will help any discussion also, but you'll get very narrow information when compared to a search.

Best is a very subjective term.
