Default Another 2 bite the dust?

I'm not sure how this happened as the position of the cars had been moved when got home, happened abut 1/2 hour earlier... Apparently (heard 3rd hand) a 2week old newborn suffered a neck injury, don't take that for gospel or to heart, it's only what I heard.
Some of you may recognise it, the same intersection from the last crash I posted, one of the 2 cars has failed to give way.. Not much else to say... It is a decently sized interesection, mark well enough. Only problem is if you are coming at it from the beach (right hand side) It does come up quickly. I myself have gone straight through without giving way, it's not marked the best (Only once, I know now :S). It could easily be a problem for someone who doesn't know the road.

geez..... 2 totalled falcons there. You should have approached for parts :P

Maybe your council will act on that intersection and install traffic lights.

Ouch. Looks like they could benefit with a visit to AWC.

I do hope the information about the baby proves to be incorrect.

How can you tell? Either cars could be liable and failed to give way. Cars are often moved after a smash so from the pix you can not tell where they lay. There are no skidmarks either.

What grubby little rock did you crawl out from?? :MrT_anim:

Anyone bothered to look at this inciteful scrotes other posts? Couldnt you find anyone on the Holden forums to hold a conversation with you?
You might have the pleasure of meeting some other Holden fans who enjoy this website but I suspect that they will want remarkably little to do with silly posts like that.

Its a lot more fun when you enjoy both sides of the pond! I happen to love quite a few Holdens too!

Thats a shocker of an intersection. I almost had an altercation with a Nissan last time I was down your way James.

Which road is that?

It's Commercial Rd. Pully.
There aren't any signs that I can recal, but coming at it from 3 ways you are heading downhill and do get a fairly good view of the intersection. From the right it comes up very quickly (just around a bend) and if you don't know it you could (and I have) just go straight through it before knowing you've just crossed it... They need a few big signs about I think..

A minor fact, it looks like an EL Sapphire, not a 'monty.

Looking at the first pic, looks like EL has come in from the right, travelling too fast, slammed the brakes (you can see the skids) and has tboned the EA which has spun and hit the keep left sign (bottom rightish of the pic)

I daresay the driver of the EL is in for a lot of ИИИИ....

*edit* or I could be wrong. Meg. looks liek a dangerous road anyway, single road intersecting a dual carriageway and not even any lights/give way or even stop signs?

This is pretty much the same thing that happened in my accident just recently. An idiot didnt give way. From my opinion theres no excuse there, if your coming up from one of those side streets and crossing what looks to be four lanes, naturally if you didnt know the area you wouldnt just go straight accross.

Then again, still studying the pictures, the lines are faded and theres no give way signs. So this is the councils fault as much as the drivers.

And Fordfan judging by that intersection theres lots of crashes there, if its like the intersection near my house the council wont do anything till someone gets seriously hurt. Theres always accidents there and traffic lights would fix it, but I guess they have more important things. Good luck trying to convince them otherwise.
