Yeh, seen that. Very interesting. Theres a video of them pulling it out of the lake aswell. Also another video around of a german tank that was found burried upside-down in swamp.

IIRC, there was a plan tossed about for raising sunken relics, ie- Bismarck/Titanic/Lusitania using masses of air inflated balls, but the structure of the ships wasnt up to it, they'd break up under the strain of rising through water and pressure changes.

Interestingly, that tank is not a T-34/76A as implied by the write up, its a '43 model, judging by the cupola and the mantlet. However it is not impossible that the turrent has been retrofitted onto an earlier hull, which, from the pictures, seems to be quite possible, as this T-34 has the rubber rimmed road wheels, which was a feature of the early T-34's. Later production models had the rubber rim on the 3 inner wheels removed and replaced with full steel wheels, because Russia was facing severe shortages of rubber.
