Saggy bumpers

G'day everyone...

Its a common problem among EA - ED/NA - NC, something that really destroys the clean look of a car.

Later on this year, I will be removing my bumpers, stripping them, fitting a sprint kit, and respraying them.

How do you fix the sides from sagging? I know that they have the weird triangular clips... Do you pack them with something? Or is there another way to fix them?

i have exactly the same problem, just resprayed my car, all debaged and looking sleek except for this huge gap between the top of the bumper and the body on the sides, what i did read of somone doing i think it might have been 'Rymers' (spelling?) in his thread he said he is going to screw up though the lip of the bumper from underneath into the guard, it's a bit extravagent but i think it would fix the problem.

yeah thats what i did on the old EA, remember, tech screws fix all...

Im a little bit hesitent to start drilling holes into the panels... I guess I'll just have to look into it when I remove the bumpers for painting.

You can bolt the triangular mounts into the under-panels. That way they don't show through to the bumpers...
