Default On board computer readout display

My 2012 Ford Focus Trend petrol is 1 year old and has just had its first 15000 km service at a Ford Dealer workshop.

I now noticed when turning the light switch to the on position the Computer display screen dims to the extent that I am almost unable to read it, especially when wearing sunglasses. I have only just noticed this since the service and believe I would have noticed it long ago if the situation was normal.

I have tried adjusting the dimmer control by going to "Settings" but it has had no affect

Does anybody else experienced this? Comments would be welcome and hopefully somebody with a car similar to mine will check and advise me if this is normal

Cheers

Ken

What about the dimmer buttons to the right of the head light dial?

I didn't think you could adjust the dimmer in the settings
